PRESS RELEASE- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE- NOV 1, 2008 POET ANASTASIA CLARK RETURNS AS GUEST SPEAKER FOR FREE TELE-CLASS FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES-

Poet ANASTASIA CLARK announces she will return as a Guest Speaker for a free tele-class offered by the Behind Our Eyes Writers Group. The event will take place on Sunday, Dec 7, 2008 from 8:00pm- 9:00pm. EST. The nationwide tele-class is designed to help people with disabilities explore the field of writing. Each tele-class is approximately one hour long.

The writing group was founded in 2006 by Sanford Rosenthal, a South Florida activist, who is blind himself. He started it as an informal teleconference of people with disabilities who wanted to share their writings- and they eventually co-authored the anthology, Behind Our Eyes, which was published in 2007. The book, which consists of poems, essays and stories is also available on cassette. The group continues to conduct teleconferences on the first and third Sunday of each month- with members calling in from all over the country. Guest speakers provide tips and ideas on how to pursue the field or writing- and they also answer questions. Anastasia Clark the author of several poetry books.
