POET ANASTASIA CLARK TO READ AT THE SCHACKNOW MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS. 

 

Poet ANASTASIA CLARK announces she will do a poetry reading at The Schacknow Museum of Fine Arts on Saturday January 31, 2009. The reading will be part of Saturday Opening Reception activities which features new artwork. The event begins at 6:30 pm. Admission is free to museum members; $10.00 for the general public. Anastasia Clark is the author of several full length poetry books: Grieving With Poetry (2004)- poems written after the death of her parents, Bloodsongs (2004)- poetry about women’s issues, Skeletons and Other Complaints (2004)- poetry about life’s challenges and Vagabond Pond ( 2006)- poems about being lost.  She is also the author of the POETRY PETALS chapbook collection- themed booklets designed for gift and floral baskets. The Schacknow Museum of Fine Arts was founded by New York artist and retired business man Max Schacknow. It opened in June 2000 and is registered as a 501-(c)(3) charitable organization.  Museum facilities include an Art Library, Member's Lounge, Media Room and Gift Shop.
